ASM is assisting communities in dire need of primary health care, basic education, clean water, community development, livelihood, food security, disaster preparedness, relief assistance, moral recovery and spiritual development.

Primary Health Care.  Millions of mountain folks have no access to healthcare institutions. Most of their diseases are preventable in nature. ASM helps provide primary health care by financing the training of community health workers to do basic first aid, make appropriate referrals, do health promotion and disease prevention education, and sanitary practices. ASM also sponsors medical and dental missions as well as procure medical supplies to selected villages.

Basic Education. Many natives in the hinterlands are still illiterate. They have no good access to any school, both private and public schools. ASM supports basic education by partnering with other institutions that provide literacy program.  It also aids in the procurement of equipment that may enhance learning environment of the students.

Potable Water. There are still hundreds to thousands of communities that have no access to potable water source. Contaminated water is still the number one cause of death and sickness in far-flung communities. ASM supports the development of potable water source for the benefit of the community.

Livelihood and Community Development. ASM partners with other organizations that provide livelihood program to the people so that they may be self-sufficient and be productive members of the society.

Food Security. ASM promotes the development of backyard and communal gardening or livestock raising for food production and food sufficiency.

Disaster Preparedness. ASM helps in procuring small items for donations and coordinates the collection of badly needed items for disaster preparedness and response.

Relief Assistance. ASM helps finance relief assistance.

Moral Recovery / Spiritual Development. These are part and parcel of every project of ASM. Spiritual development is the end goal of any ASM’s activity. In fact, ASM envisions to make Jesus known so we can have a happy and peaceful place to live.
